A Move to Innocence (Part I), 2023

A Move to Innocence (Part 1) is a 12-minute, 2-channel video installation that serves as the first installment of a 4-part series. This work explores the relationship between landscapes, natural forces, violence and the impact of settler colonialism.

Filmed at the Marin Headlands, A Move to Innocence (Part I) explores architecture as ideology imposed on landscape. Through this immersive exploration, viewers are invited to reflect on the lasting effects of human intervention on the environment.

This work was presented at The Headlands Center for the Arts in 2023.
